The AI agent is designed to automate administrative tasks, analyze patient data, and generate real-time insights to enhance clinical decision-making.

Oracle Health has expanded the availability of its Clinical AI Agent, an advanced AI-powered, multimodal voice, and screen-driven assistant, to support more than 30 medical specialty areas.

These include urgent care, sports medicine, nephrology, pulmonology, urology, gastroenterology, hepatology, cardiology, otolaryngology, internal medicine, and behavioral health.

The AI-powered solution is designed to streamline clinical workflows, allowing healthcare providers to spend less time on documentation and more time with patients.

Physicians using the Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent have reported an average 30% reduction in documentation time, significantly improving efficiency at the point of care.

Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent is embedded directly into a physician's workflow, making it a fully integrated solution rather than a separate feature.

It is designed to automate administrative tasks, analyze patient data, and generate real-time insights to enhance clinical decision-making.

"Oracle is automating clinical workflows and bringing analytics-driven intelligence to our entire clinical portfolio," said Seema Verma, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Health and Life Sciences.

She emphasized that the overwhelmingly positive feedback from healthcare professionals highlights the life-changing impact of the technology.

The Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent combines generative AI, Agentic technology, automation, and multimodal capabilities, offering a voice and screen-driven experience that enhances usability.

Integrated with the Oracle Health electronic health record (EHR) system, the AI assistant can generate highly accurate draft notes in minutes and suggest next steps for providers, reducing the time spent on manual data entry.

The AI tool retrieves critical patient information in real-time by eliminating the need for drop-down menus and complex navigation. This enables providers to focus more on patient interactions before, during, and after appointments.

Medical professionals across different specialties have praised the Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent for improving their workflow and enhancing patient engagement.

Jacqulyn Stachowiak, a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Southwest General Hospital in Ohio, shared her experience, stating, "I have been incredibly impressed with its ability to precisely capture key aspects of my patient visits while seamlessly filtering out unrelated side conversations. This level of accuracy has truly enhanced my documentation process."

Dr Mujtaba Mohamed, a Gastrointestinal and hepatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Joan C Edwards School of Medicine, Marshall Health, noted that the AI tool allows him to have more meaningful conversations with patients without the mental burden of remembering every detail.

Additionally, he highlighted how the tool supports teaching residents and fellows by enabling more focused discussions on patient care.

Emily Graham, RN and Informatics Analyst at St John Health, emphasized the collaborative approach of Oracle, stating, "Having the power of Oracle behind us ensures better performance for our EMR. It's not just about the technology—the team at Oracle truly cares about our patients and our community."
