In just one week, Online Chikitsa Mitra has facilitated over 350 online consultations, ensuring timely and effective medical attention for pilgrims.
Online Chikitsa Mitra (OCM), a leading health-tech startup focused on bridging healthcare gaps in rural and semi-urban India, has been appointed by the Uttar Pradesh government as the exclusive health technology partner for Mahakumbh 2025.
This collaboration aims to provide free, specialized healthcare services to the over 40 crore pilgrims expected at the event, marking a significant step in improving healthcare accessibility during large-scale gatherings.
OCM operates a telehealth outpatient department (OPD) at Mahakumbh from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Trained nurses record patients’ vitals, enabling online consultations with doctors at no cost.
The medical team comprises specialists in internal medicine, dermatology, gynecology, neurology, cardiology, and more.
