Novo Nordisk, Healthify Roll Out AI Program for Obesity Management
The partnership aims to scale access to obesity care using an AI assistant that can track nutrition and guide users through daily choices during their treatment journey.
Novo Nordisk India and health and wellness platform Healthify have teamed up to launch an AI-enabled patient support program designed for people managing obesity in India.
The initiative focuses on improving patient experience and long-term adherence by offering structured lifestyle guidance alongside treatment.
Healthify said the partnership aims to scale access to obesity care using an AI assistant that can track nutrition and guide users through daily choices during their treatment journey. The program blends technology, coaching, and real-time insights to help patients stay consistent with healthier routines.
Tushar Vashisht, Co-founder and CEO of Healthify, underlined the need for lifestyle support in obesity management. “Structured lifestyle support plays a critical role alongside GLP-1 therapy. Our goal is to equip patients with the right tools, coaching, and real-time intelligence to help them build sustainable habits. This partnership enables us to deliver AI-enabled, dietitian-guided personalized care to more patients across India and shape future global programs”, he said.
Vikrant Shrotriya, Managing Director of Novo Nordisk India, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to comprehensive obesity care. “As leaders in GLP-1 innovation, we believe that pairing medication with strong patient guidance is essential for long-term success. This program marks an important step toward improving patient outcomes”, he stated.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen technology-enabled obesity care and widen support for individuals living with chronic weight-related conditions.
