Nita Ambani Launches ‘Jeevan’ Chronic Care Centre at Reliance Foundation Hospital
Jeevan offers a range of services, including chemotherapy, dialysis, immunotherapy, blood and platelet transfusions, albumin infusions, and specialised day care treatments.
Reliance Foundation Hospital has added a new specialised centre, Jeevan, aimed at strengthening chronic disease management and day care treatment services.
The facility was launched by Nita M. Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, and is designed as an extension of the hospital to support patients requiring recurring and long-duration therapies.
Jeevan offers a range of services, including chemotherapy, dialysis, immunotherapy, blood and platelet transfusions, albumin infusions, and specialised day care treatments. According to the hospital, the centre is structured to provide coordinated care for patients managing chronic conditions that require repeated hospital visits and close clinical monitoring.
A key component of the new facility is a dedicated Paediatric Chemotherapy Ward. The ward is designed exclusively for children undergoing cancer treatment, with infrastructure tailored to paediatric clinical needs. The hospital stated that the unit aims to support young patients through structured treatment pathways alongside emotional and family-centered care.
Beyond oncology services, Jeevan expands treatment access for patients with chronic liver diseases through specialised albumin injection therapy. The centre also supports individuals with haematological conditions such as Sickle Cell Anaemia and Thalassemia Major by offering targeted transfusion services. Additionally, Jeevan offers sleep studies to aid in the diagnosis and management of sleep-related disorders.
By consolidating multiple chronic care services within a single facility, the hospital aims to reduce the logistical burden on patients and caregivers who otherwise need to navigate different departments or repeated admissions. The integrated setup allows clinicians to coordinate treatment plans more efficiently while maintaining continuity of care.
The centre has been dedicated to the memory of Nita Ambani’s father, Shri Ravindrabhai Dalal. The launch also coincides with the birth anniversary of Dhirubhai H. Ambani on December 28.
Speaking at the launch, Nita Ambani said, “Jeevan represents a deeply meaningful milestone in our journey to make world-class healthcare accessible to every Indian. It reflects our belief that true healing goes beyond clinical excellence—it is care rooted in hope, dignity, and respect for life.” She also highlighted the paediatric chemotherapy ward as a personally significant aspect of the initiative.
