Fujitsu Limited has announced the development of a secure AI agent platform designed to enhance operational efficiency and ensure stable medical service delivery in Japan’s healthcare sector.
At the core of the platform is an orchestrator AI agent, a centralized system that enables collaboration among multiple specialized healthcare-specific agents developed by Fujitsu and partner companies.
The initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced medical operational practices, strengthen business transformation, and improve sustainability across Japan’s healthcare industry.

Fujitsu plans to commercialize the system in 2025, working with advanced medical institutions and partners globally to test its effectiveness and expand the development of industry-focused AI agents.
Under its Fujitsu Uvance business model, the company will continue to pursue healthcare transformation through data and AI. The goal is to enable personalized treatment opportunities for individuals while improving access to timely and effective medical services.
Through this platform, Fujitsu will provide a suite of task-specific AI agents capable of handling functions such as data structuring, interoperability monitoring, and workflow automation. The orchestrator AI agent will centrally control these processes, integrating multiple specialized applications to streamline operations both inside and outside medical institutions.
The system is expected to allow healthcare professionals to dedicate more time to diagnosis and patient care. Managers can reallocate staff to priority areas, strengthening recruitment and retention by creating better working conditions. Patients will benefit from reduced waiting times and improved access to care tailored to their needs.
By combining Fujitsu’s operational expertise in Japanese medical information systems with NVIDIA’s AI technologies, including NVIDIA NIM microservices and NVIDIA Blueprints, the collaboration aims to establish globally recognized medical operational practices.
