Neura Health, a virtual neurology clinic, has raised $11.4 million in Series A funding, marking the first investment from the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Venture Fund.

The round also saw participation from Koch Disruptive Technologies, Pear VC, Norwest Venture Partners, Esplanade Ventures, E12 Ventures, and Correlation Ventures, bringing Neura Health’s total funding to $22 million.

The New York-based company provides virtual access to neurologists and neurological sub-specialists for conditions including headaches, migraines, sleep disturbances, seizures, concussion, chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, stroke recovery, tremor, dementia, long COVID, memory issues, and undiagnosed neurological symptoms. Its platform features AI-enabled workflows, an app for symptom tracking, personalized education and coaching, and care navigation.

Elizabeth Burstein, CEO and cofounder of Neura Health, highlighted the company’s objectives with the new funding, stating, “Neura’s Series A will help the company advance its mission of making high-quality neurological care accessible to all, accelerating growth with payers and health systems, expanding into new condition areas and continuing to deliver compassionate, expert support at every step of the patient journey.”

In the company’s funding history, Neura Health received $8 million in 2023, following a $2.2 million seed round in 2022. The neurology-focused digital health landscape also includes players such as Linus Health, Harmonic Health, Cove, Migrevation, and BioSerenity, which offer early detection, remote diagnostics, and digital care solutions for neurological and dementia-related conditions.

The Series A funds will support Neura Health’s national expansion and the broadening of partnerships with payers and health systems while extending services into additional neurological conditions.
