Narayana Hrudayalaya Expands Bengaluru Presence with INR 246 Cr Deal

The acquisition involves three separate transactions totalling over 46,000 sq ft in the Hulimavu locality, known for its dense residential population and proximity to major healthcare infrastructure.
Healthcare major Narayana Hrudayalaya has acquired land parcels valued at INR 246 Cr along Bannerghatta Main Road in Bengaluru.
The acquisition, completed on February 3, 2025, involves three separate transactions totalling over 46,000 sq ft in the Hulimavu locality, known for its dense residential population and proximity to major healthcare infrastructure, as reported by Propstack.
The largest of the deals was with Kelachandra Veneer Industries, represented by Thomas Markose and Neelu Markose, for a 93,500 sq ft plot, including approximately 10,000 sq ft of built-up area, at a consideration of INR 177.7 Cr.
In two separate deals, Narayana Hrudayalaya purchased 17,424 sq ft for INR 33.1 Cr and 18,513 sq ft for INR 35.17 Cr from Neelu Markose and Thomas Markose, respectively.
However, the company has not yet disclosed specific development plans for the newly acquired plots.
Past Bengaluru Acquisitions
As per reports, Narayana Hrudayalaya also purchased more than 1.2 acres (approx. 52,272 sq ft) of land in Begur Hobli, south Bengaluru, for INR 169 Cr in May 2024.
The seller in that transaction was Venture Projects Bangalore, and the deed was signed on March 1, 2024.
Founded by renowned cardiac surgeon Dr Devi Shetty in 2000, Narayana Hrudayalaya operates a network of 18 hospitals and three heart centres across India, with an international unit in the Cayman Islands.
