Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held a crucial meeting with senior executives from Sysmex, a leading global manufacturer of in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) and hematology equipment, during his third day of visit to Japan. The discussion primarily focused on expanding innovation and fostering collaboration in the healthcare sector, particularly in medical equipment manufacturing.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), CM Yadav expressed, "I had a productive discussion with Mr. Toni Sumaki, Eisuke Kobayashi, and Akamatsu of Sysmex, medical equipment manufacturers. Sysmex, a global leader in IVD and hematology, has had a strong presence in India since 1993, with manufacturing facilities in Baddi, Gujarat, and Sanand." Yadav highlighted the significance of strengthening ties between the two sides to further enhance the healthcare infrastructure.
The CM also invited Sysmex executives to the Global Investors Summit 2025, scheduled for February 24 and 25 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The summit is expected to promote investment opportunities in various sectors, including healthcare, and underscore the state’s investment-friendly policies and industrial infrastructure.
"We discussed expanding innovation and collaboration in the healthcare sector, particularly in medical equipment manufacturing," Yadav added. His meeting with Sysmex executives was part of his ongoing efforts to explore international partnerships that can contribute to advancing the healthcare sector in Madhya Pradesh.
In addition to the healthcare-focused discussions, CM Yadav also met with the Indian diaspora in Kobe, Japan, where he shared updates about the upcoming GIS and encouraged them to participate. The Global Investors Summit will feature diverse discussions on investment opportunities and infrastructural development in Madhya Pradesh, aimed at fostering growth and collaboration in the healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
CM Yadav concluded, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all the state governments in the country are playing an important role in strengthening the nation's economy. India has become the center of attention for global investment. I am happy that Madhya Pradesh is making strides with attractive policies for investment in various sectors, including healthcare.”
