Motherhood Hospitals Rolls Out Motherhood One for Expecting Mothers

The app offers expert-led medical guidance, symptom tracking, and emotional well-being tools.
Motherhood Hospitals has launched Motherhood One, a subscription-based pregnancy care app offering medically guided support to expecting mothers across India.
Integrated within the existing Motherhood Care app, it is positioned as the country's first offering to deliver end-to-end digital pregnancy care.
The app enables access to a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including pregnancy coaches, nutritionists, psychologists, and doctors. According to the company, the platform uses AI to deliver personalized, evidence-based care to support women through various aspects of pregnancy, from physical health to emotional well-being.
Vijayarathna Venkatraman, CEO of Motherhood Hospitals, said, “For the first time in India, mothers can access this level of personalized care through Motherhood Hospitals, setting a new standard in maternal care. Whether staying on top of health milestones, building an emotional connection with the baby, or receiving real-time medical advice, Motherhood One empowers mothers to navigate their pregnancy journey confidently and easily.”
The initiative aligns with findings that 6% to 10% of pregnant women experience a fear of childbirth, often stemming from misinformation or lack of access to reliable medical advice.
“Our insights based on our conversations with expectant mothers revealed that they had questions related to nutrition during pregnancy, physical activity and traveling during pregnancy, kicks of the baby, spotting and bleeding, and when to visit a gynecologist,” the company stated.
Features Built on Insights from Expecting Mothers and Experts
The development of Motherhood One involved feedback from mothers-to-be, new mothers, obstetricians, and nutritionists. The app includes real-time access to gynecologists, symptom tracking, medication reminders, and a digital pregnancy journal.
A dedicated feature, Conversations with the Womb, offers weekly guided meditative sessions created by psychologists. This is aimed at enhancing emotional well-being and fostering maternal-baby bonding.
Early adopters of the app have shared positive feedback. Naina Mehta, a 28-year-old expectant mother from Bengaluru, said, “As a first-time mother, I was constantly anxious and overwhelmed. The Motherhood Care app became my everyday companion, whether tracking my baby's kicks or symptoms, staying mindful with ‘conversations with the womb,’ or simply having access to expert advice 247. It has truly made my pregnancy journey smoother and emotionally reassuring.”
