The Shared Vision

Reportedly, this strategic alliance with MedRabbits Healthcare aligns with Union Bank’s commitment to the comprehensive well-being of our valued clients.

In addition to this partnership, MedRabbits Healthcare has also joined hands with AB Bank PLC, Dhaka. This collaboration aims to provide exclusive healthcare benefits and organize health camps for employees, focusing on medical travel arrangements.

This new alliance between MedRabbits Healthcare and Union Bank PLC aims to enhance corporate wellness in the country along with setting a new benchmark in accessible, high-quality healthcare solutions.

The signing ceremony included Shafiuddin Ahmed and Jahangir Alam, deputy MD of Union Bank PLC, along with Shahriar Rauf, head of the Corporate Affairs and Branding Division of Union Bank, and Amol R Deshmukh, MD, MedRabbits Healthcare.

Founded in 2018 by Dr Ravi Kumar, MedRabbits is a healthcare startup that aims to revolutionize home healthcare services by providing personalized, convenient, and high-quality care to patients in their own homes.

Their services include lab tests at home, professional nursing care, and caretakers for elderly patients.

In a recent development, Mumbai-based RBL Bank launched Dhanvantri program, which offers free mobile health services for a broad category of support staff including essential and domestic services personnel.

For the same, it further unveiled a mobile healthcare van that provides complimentary health and eye checkups for those individuals employed in residential neighborhoods and gated communities.

This activity caters specifically to house helps, security guards, drivers, housekeeping staff, blue-collar workers, and others working in similar roles. Through this initiative, the bank seeks to address the healthcare requirements of the underprivileged in an easily accessible way.

Likewise, in January, the Haryana government launched a cashless medical facility for government employees and their dependents. Implementation of this scheme is carried out through the Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority (State Health Authority).

The procedures listed under this cashless scheme are completely cashless and the hospitals were directed to have their claims approved from a single platform within a specified time frame.

Additionally, e-card/CCHF cards were issued to all the beneficiaries to avail of benefits under the scheme. The beneficiaries can avail of benefits using payee code, Aadhaar number or Parivar Pehchan Patra (family ID) number.

The state government had initiated the scheme on a pilot basis, initially covering employees from the fisheries and horticulture departments, offering cashless healthcare facilities starting November 1st, 2023.
