Medical robotics startup Articulus Surgical has raised funding from Kalaari Capital for an undisclosed amount.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate market deployments, expand surgeon training programmes, and deepen partnerships with hospitals over the next 12–18 months.
Founded in 2019 by Saurya Mishra, Articulus Surgical builds robotics systems for minimally invasive soft-tissue surgeries.
The startup operates in a segment where robotic surgery adoption is currently low in India and is developing solutions that target high-volume abdominal and related procedures.
As it scales commercial deployments, Articulus Surgical competes with other surgical robotics platforms used globally and in India. These include established players such as Intuitive Surgical’s da Vinci system, CMR Surgical, and other advanced surgical automation technologies.
