Mayo Clinic Launches Platform_Orchestrate to Speed Therapies to Patients

Mayo Clinic has announced the launch of Mayo Clinic Platform_Orchestrate, a program aimed at helping biopharma and medical device companies accelerate clinical development and deliver new therapies to patients faster.

The initiative provides a single point of access to Mayo Clinic’s research and clinical expertise, de-identified clinical data, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, physician-scientist knowledge, and an international distribution network.

The program is designed to remove barriers that often delay the development process and to streamline the journey from discovery to delivery.

Program details

Platform_Orchestrate operates within the Mayo Clinic Platform ecosystem, integrating clinical data, AI, and clinician expertise. It focuses on three key areas:

  • Discovery: real-world clinical data and biospecimens.

  • Validation: testing and refining AI models and digital solutions.

  • Deployment: scalable infrastructure for integrating innovations across Mayo Clinic and its global partner network.

Through this framework, companies gain access to de-identified, multi-modal longitudinal data, biospecimens, and advanced profiling resources, while also having opportunities to validate and scale clinically relevant solutions.

Mayo Clinic stated that leading life sciences and technology firms are already using Platform_Orchestrate. Early projects include developing multimodal AI models for early disease detection, building tools to identify patients for targeted therapies, advancing trial recruitment, and deploying digital health solutions across U.S. and international care settings.

“Mayo Clinic Platform_Orchestrate was created to help our life sciences and biopharma partners bring therapies to patients safely and faster,” said Maneesh Goyal, chief operating officer, Mayo Clinic Platform. “By combining trusted data, advanced AI, and Mayo Clinic's scientific expertise, we are reimagining what's possible in clinical development.”

According to Mayo Clinic, these collaborations demonstrate the demand for the program’s capabilities and its potential to move new solutions from concept into practice more efficiently.
