Colleges in Indore, Rewa, Seoni, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Sagar, and Gwalior have been upgraded to strengthen service delivery.

The government is also pursuing public-private partnership (PPP) models for additional medical colleges. Agreements have been signed in Dhar, Baijnath, and Panna, with nine more proposed across other districts. Recruitment is underway for 3,850 doctors and 1,256 nursing officers.

Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, over 4.46 crore cards have been issued in the state, including 15.48 lakh special cards for citizens aged 70 and above.
