Leeford Healthcare Plans INR 200-Cr Investment to Scale Orthopedic Business

Leeford Healthcare has outlined plans to invest INR 200 crore over the next three years to strengthen its orthopedic and mobility aids division, which was launched in 2023.

Leeford Healthcare has outlined plans to invest INR 200 crore over the next three years to strengthen its orthopedic and mobility aids division, which was launched in 2023.

A substantial portion of the investment will be allocated to upgrading the company’s manufacturing facility for orthopedic and mobility products, while the remaining funds will be used for marketing, advertising, and expansion into newer towns.

Neha Gupta, Director, Leeford Healthcare, said the company is focusing on enhancing production capacity alongside widening its market presence. She added that Leeford plans to expand its geographical footprint across a majority of India’s pincodes as part of the growth strategy.

As part of its expansion efforts, the company has also launched a celebrity-led campaign titled ‘Fit Raho, Hit Raho’, featuring actor and fitness enthusiast Tiger Shroff.

Leeford’s orthopedic portfolio currently includes around 32 products, such as lumbar belts, posture correctors, cervical collars, knee caps, wrist and ankle supports, and sports recovery aids. By the end of FY 2026–27, the company plans to expand the portfolio to 50 products, with 20 new launches planned in the prevention and sports wellness segments.

The company operates a WHO-GMP–compliant manufacturing facility in Ludhiana, Punjab. As part of the investment plan, Leeford is looking to double its retail footprint while strengthening its direct-to-consumer (D2C) model through e-commerce and quick commerce platforms.

Beyond orthopedics, Leeford Healthcare also manufactures and markets products across cosmeceutical and wellness categories. The company did not disclose financial details related to individual business segments.
