The facility aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services and integrated wellness solutions under one roof.
Hyderabad-based JV Ventures, an investment management firm specializing in value-added infrastructure, launched The Medical Centre (TMC) in Hyderabad.
The facility aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services and integrated wellness solutions under one roof.
TMC's concept focuses on delivering advanced medical facilities, including various medical services and amenities.
Expressing thoughts, Raja Jain, CEO of TMC, said, "Our goal is to offer state-of-the-art medical infrastructure that meets the needs of both patients and healthcare providers."
JV Ventures plans to establish 75 TMC centers across major cities such as Bengaluru and Pune over the next five years, with a projected investment of $600 million.
These centers aim to provide purpose-built medical facilities, allowing doctors and clinics to lease space without upfront infrastructure investments.
Reportedly, each center will be code-compliant and offer amenities such as stretcher lifts, ample parking, wheelchair access, and professionally managed facilities.
"TMC is designed to be a one-stop solution for healthcare needs, making it easier for medical professionals to set up and run their practices efficiently," Jain explained.
TMC will also feature two complementary offerings: the Specialist and Prescriptions. The Specialist provides a medical co-working space for doctors with flexible leasing models, allowing them to operate without the burden of owning infrastructure.
Prescriptions is a venture capital arm that provides funding opportunities for doctors who want to become entrepreneurs. It offers equity-linked investments from a pool of funds from angel investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
"We are committed to transforming ideas into successful enterprises through our comprehensive approach from ideation to execution," said cofounders Chhabra and Goel in a joint statement.
The launch of TMC in Hyderabad aims to enhance the city's healthcare infrastructure.
"We aim to create a seamless experience for patients and healthcare providers. By offering state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive services, TMC is poised to become a leader in the healthcare sector,” Jain noted.
Founded in 2015 by Jasmeet Singh Chhabra and Vishal Goel, JV Ventures has made several investments in education, life sciences, and industrial sectors. The firm also deployed over $600 million across various socially relevant verticals, including PowerEd and PoweRx.
