Indira IVF Acquires Stake in Srishti Hospital to Boost ART in Puducherry

This move marks Indira IVF’s entry into the Puducherry region as part of its broader plan to improve accessibility to fertility care across India.
Indira IVF Hospital has signed an agreement to acquire a stake in Creation Science IVF, which operates Srishti Hospital in Puducherry.
This move marks Indira IVF’s entry into the Puducherry region as part of its broader plan to improve accessibility to fertility care across India.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Srishti Hospital, based in Puducherry, provides assisted reproductive technology (ART) services and is equipped to address both female and male fertility needs.
Indira IVF noted that the facility will continue to operate under the leadership of Dr Soumyaroop Dash, Founder of Srishti Hospital, and his team.
“With Srishti Hospital joining its national network, Indira IVF aims to bring in structured protocols, supportive digital systems, and consistency in care, with the objective of enhancing the overall patient experience,” the organisation stated.
Kshitiz Murdia, Chief Executive Officer and Whole-Time Director, Indira IVF, said that collaborating with Srishti brings regional insight and community trust, complementing Indira IVF’s strengths in clinical systems, technology, and consistent care.
“Srishti was founded to bring fertility care closer to home for couples in Puducherry. We are now poised to build on our strong foundation by combining local insight with national expertise, further advancing the quality and reach of fertility care in the region,” Soumyaroop Dash added.
The demand for fertility services in India has been rising due to factors such as lifestyle changes, increasing awareness, and the prevalence of chronic conditions.
According to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5), Puducherry's total fertility rate (TFR) stands at 1.5, which is below the replacement level. This indicates a need for expanded access to ART services in the area.
