India’s First AI-Led Digital Clinic for Women Pinky Promise Raises $1M Pre-Seed Funding

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the company’s integrated care offerings, support the rollout of physical clinics, and expand its portfolio of clinically backed nutritional supplements.

Mumbai-based Pinky Promise, India’s first artificial intelligence (AI)-led digital clinic focused exclusively on women’s health, has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by the Rebalance Angel Community.

The round also saw participation from angel investors, including Padma Bhushan awardee and former Tata Consultancy Services MD and CEO Subramanian Ramadorai, along with Mala Ramadorai.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the company’s integrated care offerings, support the rollout of physical clinics, and expand its portfolio of clinically backed nutritional supplements. The startup aims to strengthen continuity of care and extend its reach at a national level.

Pinky Promise positions itself as a digital-first clinic designed to diagnose and manage women’s health issues through a combination of AI-driven systems and gynaecologist oversight. The platform focuses on addressing gaps in access to confidential, non-judgmental, and affordable sexual and reproductive healthcare in India.

Through its mobile application, users can access round-the-clock care, chat instantly with experienced gynaecologists, and receive medical guidance and prescriptions within minutes. Consultations on the platform start at Rs 99, targeting affordability for a wide demographic. The care model relies on proprietary AI systems that work alongside qualified medical professionals to streamline diagnosis and treatment pathways.

The company reports that it has provided gynaecological care to over 350,000 women, covering more than 320 symptoms and conditions. These range from period-related concerns and urinary tract infections to fertility, pregnancy, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). According to the startup, Pinky Promise currently has around 40,000 paying customers across all districts in India.

Rebalance Angel Community, which led the round, is known for backing startups with diverse founding teams and a focus on inclusive innovation. The participation of senior industry leaders in the round reflects growing investor interest in technology-led healthcare platforms addressing underserved segments.

With plans to combine digital care delivery with physical clinics, Pinky Promise is looking to move beyond app-based consultations to offer integrated, end-to-end women’s healthcare services. The expansion is expected to include in-person touchpoints alongside its existing AI-enabled digital infrastructure.
