The center will integrate genetic science, nutrition, fitness, AI, and IoT technology to offer comprehensive and personalized health solutions.

Kerala-based healthtech startup Vieroots has launched India's first Biohack Center in Kochi, boasting world-class amenities.

Founded by Aditya Narayan (CEO), Sajeev Nair (Chairman), and Sajeev VP (COO), Vieroots focuses on personalized holistic lifestyle modifications by combining modern healthcare research with ancient wellness practices.

The center will integrate genetic science, nutrition, fitness, AI, and IoT technology to offer comprehensive and personalized health solutions.

Moreover, advanced therapies will be made available such as custom nutritional IV treatments, personalized nutrition, diet and fitness plans, and a variety of other wellness solutions.

Other therapies available at the center include red light therapy, electrolytes, cold plunge, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF), electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), and ozone therapy, among others.

The center provides each individual with a tailor-made package developed with the help of relevant biohacking modules. The appropriate procedure is finalized after a thorough bio-decoding.

Reportedly, Vieroots envisions these Biohack Centers as touchpoints to extend their services effectively. Additionally, the startup has plans to expand Biohack Centers across India and globally.

The Kerala-based startup has been operating in multiple verticals including preventive genomics, lifestyle disease management, nutraceuticals, and biohacking devices, among others.

Understanding Biohacking

Biohacking scientifically and systematically allows individuals to analyze and manage their health using genomic and metabolic diagnostics. It offers personalized correction procedures to enhance health and promote a disease-free life by restoring and rejuvenating the body and mind.

The process involves standardized protocols such as consultation, assessment, personalized planning, and ongoing support. Benefits include peak performance, longevity, healthy aging, pain management, lifestyle disease reversal, and weight loss, with tailored plans provided at the Biohack Centre.

Vieroots's core product, the EPLIMO (Personalized Epigenetic Lifestyle Modifications) app, integrates cutting-edge AI technology with genomic science.

EPLIMO (Epigenetic Lifestyle Modification) is designed based on an individual’s DNA and present health status. It analyzes diet control, exercise, and mental wellness guided by AI-powered genomic and metabolic analysis.

In a similar development, Apollo Cancer Centres (ACC), in collaboration with Accuray, introduced the Indian subcontinent’s first robotic and stereotactic therapy education center. It aims to provide advanced training in radiosurgery techniques for radiation oncologists, physicists, radiation therapists, and technologists.

Under this program, training will be provided to participants, provided demonstrations, and hands-on robotic and stereotactic radiosurgery training.

Last month, Olympus Corporation, a leading global medical technology company, planned to set up an R&D Offshore Development Centre (ODC) in Hyderabad.

This initiative, in collaboration with HCLTech, is expected to serve as a precursor to a more extensive in-house R&D facility that Olympus plans to establish in India in the coming years.
