Healthtech Startup Janitri Unveils Smart Ring for Maternal & Postpartum Care

The device operates in distinct modes for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and general well-being, adapting its insights and recommendations accordingly.
Healthtech startup Janitri has announced the launch of Momi, a smart ring designed specifically for expecting and new mothers to monitor vital health parameters during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
The wearable device continuously tracks key vitals such as heart rate, sleep patterns, and stress levels, aiming to offer early insights into maternal health issues. It also features postpartum recovery monitoring, including support for C-section healing and fatigue management.
In addition to health tracking, Momi integrates nutrition guidance through a companion feature called Smart Plate, movement recommendations tailored for different stages of recovery, and wellness support for mothers transitioning back to work after childbirth.
The launch marks an effort to address maternal health needs that often receive less attention compared to neonatal care.
