Healthium Medtech Unveils 'TRUMAS' Sutures for Enhanced Minimal Access Surgery

TRUMAS sutures were developed to overcome the challenges of suturing during minimally invasive surgeries, thereby departing from conventional sutures.

TRUMAS offers a diverse array of needle and suture combinations, catering comprehensively to the needs of surgeons.

These innovations include anti-reflective needles to alleviate eye fatigue, optimally curved needles for ease of introduction and maneuverability, square body needles for enhanced grip, and well-sized, short-length barb sutures.

Minimal access surgery (MAS) has gained significant traction in the past two decades and is now hailed as the benchmark for surgical procedures across diverse medical fields. While technological innovations have elevated surgical accuracy and patient results, suturing within MAS has seen limited specialised advancements.
