Healthium Medtech Appoints Rajnish Damani as Group COO to Strengthen Operations

Healthium Medtech, a global medical device company focused on surgical and post-surgical care, has announced the appointment of Rajnish Damani as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In this newly created leadership position, Damani will lead manufacturing, research and development, and supply chain functions across the group, reporting directly to CEO and MD Anish Bafna.
This strategic move underscores Healthium’s focus on driving operational excellence by integrating core functions under a unified leadership structure. The goal is to enhance execution, improve patient service, and support global expansion through greater synergy across the value chain.

Rajnish Damani brings over three decades of experience across sectors such as automotive, healthcare, renewables, aviation, and transportation.
Prior to joining Healthium, he served as Executive Director – Manufacturing Operations at Bridgestone India, where he led strategic initiatives around investment planning, quality improvement, talent development, and new product launches.
His previous leadership roles span General Electric, Cummins, and Hindustan Motors, where he managed multi-plant operations and complex industrial relations. Damani holds an engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and will be relocating from Pune to assume his new role.
