Healthcare Leader Prateek Jain Takes Charge as CEO of Sagar Group of Hospitals

Prior to this appointment, Jain has worked with healthcare organisations including Narayana Health, Fortis Healthcare, Wockhardt Hospitals and HealthCare Global.

Bengaluru-based Sagar Group of Hospitals has announced the appointment of Prateek Jain as its Chief Executive Officer.

The hospital group shared the update in a LinkedIn post, stating, "We are pleased to announce the appointment of Prateek Jain as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sagar Group of Hospitals."

The organization noted that his appointment comes at a transformative period for the group.

Jain has around 23 years of experience in hospital and healthcare institution management. His expertise includes growth strategy, negotiation, business planning, operations management, healthcare consulting and IT. He holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare or Hospital Management from the Indian Institute of Health and Hospital Management, Jaipur, part of IHMR University.

The post further stated, "Jain's appointment comes at a transformative period for the Sagar Group. He brings over two decades of diverse experience in strategic business operations and organisational growth at leading healthcare institutions. His leadership is expected to be a cornerstone in the Sagar Group's mission to integrate advanced medical innovation with the compassionate patient-centric care that has defined our legacy."

Prior to this appointment, Jain has worked with healthcare organisations including Narayana Health, Fortis Healthcare, Wockhardt Hospitals and HealthCare Global.

Established in 1960, Sagar Hospitals operates two tertiary care multi specialty hospitals with a combined capacity of 665 beds. The group also runs four clinics and a chain of 12 pharmacies and has polyclinics in Muscat and Dubai.
