Healthark Launches Curie Clinical to Embed Agentic AI in Clinical Research

The module integrates agentic AI at the heart of clinical workflows, moving beyond traditional task-based automation to manage end-to-end study execution with goal-driven, context-aware agents.

Healthark has launched Curie Clinical, a dedicated module within its next-generation agentic AI platform, Curie, aimed at transforming clinical research operations. The module integrates agentic AI at the heart of clinical workflows, moving beyond traditional task-based automation to manage end-to-end study execution with goal-driven, context-aware agents.

From early study design and protocol development to ongoing execution and oversight, Curie Clinical orchestrates clinical operations while supporting regulatory and operational compliance. Early implementations indicate the platform can reduce documentation and review timelines by up to 70% and deliver cost savings of approximately 50%.

The system autonomously handles numerous recurring clinical tasks, including generating monitoring visit reports, drafting narratives, tracking site deviations, coordinating training, conducting automated site feasibility assessments, monitoring site performance, and overseeing routine study activities. By automating these processes, clinical operations teams, medical writers, clinical research associates (CRAs), and safety specialists can redirect focus toward higher-value scientific and strategic responsibilities.

Dhaval Vasavada, Associate Director of Information, Data, and Technology (IDT) at Healthark, said, “We are confident that with Curie Clinical, research teams can move faster, reduce operational overhead, and gain real-time control over clinical workflows. This is not incremental automation—it’s a move to agentic AI that autonomously powers insight-driven clinical operations.”

Healthark’s adoption of agentic AI reflects a shift in clinical research technology, emphasizing autonomous, context-aware operations over manual or semi-automated processes. Curie Clinical is designed to integrate data, workflows, and intelligent automation, enabling more efficient study execution while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Early adopters report significant improvements in operational efficiency and resource allocation, allowing research teams to prioritize scientific discovery and strategic decision-making over repetitive administrative tasks.

As clinical research continues to demand faster timelines and higher regulatory scrutiny, platforms like Curie Clinical demonstrate the growing role of AI-driven automation in enhancing both productivity and compliance in study execution.
