Gleneagles Hospital Bengaluru Launches Advanced Interventional Radiology Cath Lab

The new Cath Lab is equipped with next-generation image-guided technology, enabling a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Gleneagles Hospital Bengaluru has unveiled its state-of-the-art Advanced Interventional Radiology Cath Lab at its Richmond Road facility, marking a significant step toward minimally invasive, image-guided treatments.

The facility was inaugurated by Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, with N A Haris, MLA, attending as the Guest of Honor.

Anurag Yadav, CEO of Gleneagles Health Care India, along with several leading medical experts and dignitaries, also attended the event.

The new Cath Lab is equipped with next-generation image-guided technology, enabling a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions.

These include complex tumor ablations, embolization procedures, arterial recanalization, and high-end diagnostic imaging.

The facility offers safer, faster, and more effective alternatives to conventional surgeries by utilizing advanced imaging systems, significantly reducing patient risk, recovery time, and hospital stay.

Dr Uthappa MC, Senior Consultant, Interventional Radiologist, highlighted the transformative impact of the facility, stating,
