FUJIFILM India Expands In-Vitro Diagnostics Portfolio with Launch of FW500 Clinical Chemistry Analyzer

The system combines over four decades of dry chemistry expertise with Fujifilm’s Wako biochemistry reagents, aiming to support diagnostic laboratories with improved precision and efficiency.

FUJIFILM India has announced the launch of its FW500 Clinical Chemistry Analyzer, further strengthening its in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) portfolio.

The system combines over four decades of dry chemistry expertise with Fujifilm’s Wako biochemistry reagents, aiming to support diagnostic laboratories with improved precision and efficiency.

The FW500 is designed to process up to 200 tests per hour and comes with 95 sample positions and 72 reagent positions, offering accuracy and speed in a compact format. Features such as continuous sample loading and temperature-controlled reagents ensure seamless laboratory operations, particularly suited for mid-sized labs across India.

In addition to performance, the FW500 emphasizes sustainability and smart connectivity. The analyzer consumes only 1.5 liters of water per hour and uses reusable cuvettes to reduce waste. Its intelligent software enables real-time monitoring and remote access, allowing laboratories to enhance productivity while maintaining operational control.

With this launch, FUJIFILM India now offers a comprehensive biochemistry portfolio covering both dry and wet chemistry platforms, underlining its focus on supporting diagnostic accuracy and accessibility in India’s healthcare ecosystem.
