The EHR-agnostic platform provides automated services and intelligent assistance to streamline patient interactions.
healow Genie offers patient self-service, automated after-hours support, conversational campaigns, and 24/7 access to crucial health information. Its AI Agents feature allows patients to manage appointments, pay bills, request referrals, or ask for medication refills. Calls requiring more detailed review or provider approval are automatically referred to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Dr. Priyadarshan Bajpayi, CEO of Evolve Psychiatry, said, "The AI-powered contact center solution will address common communication challenges such as high call waiting times, appointment rescheduling issues and patient balance reminders. By enhancing patient communication, we expect a significant increase in patient satisfaction and retention. healow Genie will make our lives easier while eliminating the need for costly after-hours services."
eClinicalWorks’ broader initiatives demonstrate its focus on reducing administrative burdens and improving patient engagement. Earlier this month, Medical Specialists Associated Dallas (MSA Dallas) implemented healow Genie to enhance operational efficiency and reduce staff burnout.
In July, eClinicalWorks joined the CMS Digital Health Tech Ecosystem, an initiative by federal health officials promoting healthcare data sharing and interoperability standards. Earlier in March, North Carolina-based Contentnea Health adopted eClinicalWorks’ cloud-based EHR system to optimize workflows across its 35 health centers, which provide medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to uninsured, underinsured, and underserved populations.
In February, First Choice Neurology, a physician-owned neurology group, implemented healow Genie to reduce administrative workload and allow staff to focus on in-clinic patients and essential tasks.
Through these implementations, eClinicalWorks aims to improve provider efficiency while enhancing patient participation and engagement, reflecting a wider trend of AI-driven administrative solutions in healthcare.
