Diesel & Ultrahuman Launch Smart Ring with Advanced Health Tracking

The companies state that the integration of multiple sensor modalities, along with Ultrahuman’s data models, will provide users with a more detailed read on daily performance, sleep recovery, and long-term well-being.

Diesel and Ultrahuman have announced the launch of the Diesel Ultrahuman Ring, a smart ring that has a broad suite of physiological and lifestyle tracking features.

The product marks the next phase of the partnership between the global fashion brand and the India-based health technology company, following earlier collaborations around performance wear and consumer health accessories.

The new smart ring integrates Ultrahuman’s sensor stack, which includes Infrared PPG, a medical-grade skin temperature sensor, six-axis motion sensing, and red and green LEDs for continuous heart rate and oxygen saturation monitoring.

These components support the collection of core biomarkers such as resting and active heart rate, sleep staging, sleep quality, step count, calorie expenditure, stress load, and recovery trends.

Ultrahuman has also expanded its context-aware analytics for this device. One of the new additions is caffeine tracking, which estimates blood caffeine levels based on consumption inputs and individual physiology.

The feature models how caffeine may influence sleep timing, alertness, and heart rate, and recommends appropriate cut-off times to reduce sleep disruption.

The ring also enables ovulation-cycle tracking, giving female users additional insights related to hormonal patterns, temperature fluctuations, and cycle prediction.

The company positions the device as an extension of its strategy to make technology a more visible component of its consumer offering, especially for younger audiences seeking functional devices that also meet style expectations.

The Diesel Ultrahuman Ring builds on Ultrahuman’s existing ecosystem, which includes the Ultrahuman Ring Air, the Cyborg continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) platform, and a growing suite of metabolic and recovery analytics.

The companies state that the integration of multiple sensor modalities, along with Ultrahuman’s data models, will provide users with a more detailed read on daily performance, sleep recovery, and long-term well-being.
