Deloitte India Launches ConnectSafe™ Cyber Facility to Test Threat Scenarios in Healthcare and MedTech Systems

The 4,500 sq ft facility creates a live environment where organisations can test and validate cybersecurity controls across operational technologies without affecting ongoing operations.

Deloitte India has launched ConnectSafe™, a cybersecurity testing facility designed to simulate real-world cyber threats across connected ecosystems, including healthcare and MedTech systems.

The 4,500 sq ft facility creates a live environment where organisations can test and validate cybersecurity controls across operational technologies without affecting ongoing operations. It allows companies to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen safeguards against cyber incidents in interconnected infrastructure.

The launch comes as cybersecurity threats increasingly target operational systems rather than only traditional IT infrastructure. Incidents reported globally have highlighted how vulnerabilities in connected environments can trigger large-scale disruptions across critical sectors.

ConnectSafe™ has been developed to simulate threat scenarios across multiple industries, including automotive, MedTech, industrial operations, and consumer ecosystems. The facility enables organisations to replicate attack situations and assess how their security frameworks respond to potential breaches.

India’s transition toward connected digital and physical infrastructure has significantly expanded the cyber-attack surface across sectors such as mobility, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, and public infrastructure. As more devices and operational systems become digitally integrated, vulnerabilities in connected networks pose risks to both infrastructure and service delivery.

Through simulated environments, organisations can analyse how cyber incidents propagate across interconnected systems and test mitigation strategies before implementing them in real-world operations.

According to Deloitte, the facility aims to help organisations strengthen preparedness against systemic cyber risks emerging from hyper-connected operational environments.

“As industries become increasingly connected, from smart factories and power systems to vehicles and medical devices, cyber threats are no longer limited to IT systems; they directly impact the operational backbone of our economy. Through ConnectSafe™, organisations can experience real-world threat scenarios, gain deeper visibility into emerging risks, and strengthen safeguards to protect critical infrastructure, operations, and innovation. In doing so, we are not only helping enterprises build trust and resilience but also positioning India as a leader in next-generation cyber defence,” said Romal Shetty, CEO, Deloitte South Asia.
