ChoiceSpine App Launches for Use with eCential Robotics’ Op.n Platform

The application is designed to support both open and minimally invasive spine procedures, working in conjunction with ChoiceSpine’s navigation-enabled instrumentation.

ChoiceSpine LLC, a Knoxville-based spinal implant company, in collaboration with eCential Robotics, has launched the ChoiceSpine App for surgical use on the eCential Robotics Op.n platform.

Steve Ainsworth, co-president of ChoiceSpine, said, "Robotics is a key advantage in modern healthcare, and this collaboration with eCential Robotics allows us to combine their platform with our spinal implant portfolio to set a new standard in spine surgery. It reflects our commitment to delivering advanced solutions that improve outcomes and efficiency."

The application is designed to support open and minimally invasive spine procedures, working in conjunction with ChoiceSpine’s navigation-enabled instrumentation.

The integration aims to enhance the precision of implant placement, reduce radiation exposure, and improve procedural efficiency.

Clement Vidal, CEO of Surgical Robotics, added, "We are excited to see our APP ecosystem growing, delivering on our vision to provide procedural option choices for surgeons while minimizing the capital investment cost for medical facilities."

eCential Robotics noted that the release of the ChoiceSpine App marks another milestone in expanding access to spinal robotic surgery.

The Op.n platform is an implant-agnostic, modular robotic and navigation system powered by an open ecosystem. With over 100 patents and multiple partnerships, eCential Robotics continues to develop technologies in collaboration with implant manufacturers, tech companies, and research labs.
