CARE Hospitals, Emoha Eldercare Announce Hyderabad Geriatric Care Partnership

The collaboration aims to support seniors physically and emotionally, ensuring continued care in hospitals and at home.

On World Senior Citizens Day, CARE Hospitals and Emoha Eldercare announced a partnership to build Hyderabad's comprehensive elder care ecosystem.

The collaboration aims to support seniors physically and emotionally, ensuring continued care in hospitals and at home.

As part of the initiative, a dedicated Geriatric Care Facility will be launched on October 1, 2025, at CARE Hospitals, Hyderabad. The unit will provide specialized medical services tailored to elders’ complex and chronic health needs, including comprehensive geriatric assessment and advanced clinical interventions.

Commenting on the collaboration, Biju Nair, Zonal Chief Operating Officer, CARE Hospitals, said, “At CARE Hospitals, we have always believed in delivering holistic healthcare that evolves with the changing needs of our communities. With this meaningful association with EMOHA, we are proud to further strengthen our commitment to senior citizens by combining our clinical excellence with a comprehensive ecosystem focused on enriching the lives of the elderly. This collaboration expands our service capabilities in geriatric care and allows us to create a welcoming environment where seniors feel valued, safe, and supported.”

The alliance also extends care beyond hospital walls. Elders discharged from CARE Hospitals will continue to receive medical and emotional support through Emoha’s trained carers, nurses, and care teams. Services will include administering medications, monitoring vitals, and assisting with daily health needs, aiming to reduce relapse and readmission while supporting recovery at home.

In addition to medical support, the partnership emphasizes emotional well-being. The Emoha App will connect seniors to a national community, offering online shows, interactive sessions, and curated events. Emoha’s community-first approach, supported by its local presence across neighborhoods, is designed to keep elders active, connected, and engaged.

Saumyajit Roy, CEO and co-founder of Emoha Eldercare, said, “Caring for elders isn’t just about treating illness; it’s about ensuring they live with dignity, safety, and joy. With CARE Hospitals, we create a complete ecosystem combining physical care and emotional support under one trusted umbrella.”

The partnership between CARE Hospitals and Emoha marks a step toward building a structured elder care system in Hyderabad that focuses equally on clinical support and emotional well-being.
