blueBriX Invests INR 125 Cr in Kerala for AI-Based Healthcare Workflow Platform

The investment aims to build a platform that functions as a workflow orchestrator for AI agents.

Digital health company blueBriX has announced an investment of INR 125 crore (USD 15 million) in Kerala to develop AI workflow solutions for healthcare. The company, headquartered in the US, has had a development presence in Kochi for over 17 years.

The investment aims to build a platform that functions as a workflow orchestrator for AI agents. These agents are designed to carry out defined tasks such as prior authorization, patient engagement, billing, and care coordination in a structured, compliant environment.

“The concept of an AI workflow orchestrator — especially one that coordinates multiple autonomous agents in the digital healthcare ecosystem — is just beginning to crystallize in the broader tech landscape,” said Shameem C. Hameed, Chairman of blueBriX. “Our goal is to define and lead this initiative from Kerala.”

Hameed stated that the company is expanding its teams in AI engineering, cloud infrastructure, product management, and quality assurance at its Kochi centre. “We are expanding our engineering, AI, and healthcare operations teams in Kerala with plans to create up to 50 high-paying jobs,” he said.

“This investment is more than a technology expansion,” he added. “Kerala can be a global centre for AI innovation in healthcare. We want to create opportunities for experienced professionals looking to return home and continue their work on transformative solutions with real-world impact.”

blueBriX has a customer base in the US that includes healthcare providers and payors adopting value-based care models.
