Apollo Connect also promises to offer neighbourhood hospitals and nursing homes the necessary support to grant patients access to quality healthcare within proximity, reducing the financial burdens of travel and logistics.

Apollo has unveiled a nationwide expansion of their inventive healthcare initiative, Apollo Connect.

The initiative's primary objective is establishing an extensive connected healthcare network, fostering comprehensive and advanced patient care services in metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas.

Through strategic collaborations, the initiative aims to equip hospitals and nursing homes with eICU, diagnostics, remote monitoring, surgical consultations, clinical and quality training, and accreditation assistance nationwide.

By cultivating a robust network of connected care partners, Apollo Connect seeks to fortify India's healthcare ecosystem by enhancing last-mile patient accessibility, affordability, and experience.

Under this program, partner hospitals can augment their service offerings, elevate clinical outcomes, retain patients more effectively, cut costs, and bolster overall business performance.

Apollo Connect also promises to offer neighbourhood hospitals and nursing homes the necessary support to grant patients access to quality healthcare within proximity, reducing the financial burdens of travel and logistics.

Dr. Prathap C Reddy, founder, and chairman of Apollo, noted, "As care providers, our responsibility is to join forces and ensure that no individual remains untreated due to lack of quality care access. Apollo Connect embodies this commitment by uniting healthcare providers on a single platform to deliver exceptional care and keep patients closer to home.'

Apollo Connect offers a rapid and compliant solution to retrieve primary care patient records instantly. Accessible through a vast network of connected general practices and major GP systems, Apollo Connect has undergone two years of successful pilot testing.

Notable achievements include a super specialty hospital setting up an in-house laboratory through collaboration with Apollo Diagnostics and a 50% increase in ICU occupancy at a multispecialty hospital in Chhattisgarh due to Apollo's eICU service.

Dr. Sangita Reddy, joint MD of Apollo, echoed the organisation's commitment to improving healthcare accessibility in India. She stated, "Apollo Connect is a pivotal step toward providing patients with quality healthcare near, encompassing emergency care, diagnostics, remote monitoring, and surgical consults."

Apollo Connect delivers various services to partner hospitals, spanning revenue enhancement, cost savings, strategic business support, patient retention through superior care guidelines, and comprehensive training and mentoring programs.

Apollo, a trailblazer in healthcare since its inception in 1983 by Dr. Prathap Reddy, has grown to be the world's largest integrated healthcare platform. With an impressive presence encompassing 71 hospitals, nearly 6,000 pharmacies, over 200 clinics and diagnostic centres, and 150 telemedicine centres, Apollo continues transforming healthcare provision globally.

Recently, Apollo Hospitals announced its plans to expand its offline pharmacy network by 500-600 outlets.
