American Red Cross Unveils Resuscitation App for Real-Time Clinical Support
The Resuscitation Suite App, powered by Redivus Health, is designed to support both education and real-time clinical practice.
The American Red Cross has launched a new mobile application within its Resuscitation Suite™ programs for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS).
The Resuscitation Suite App, powered by Redivus Health, is designed to support both education and real-time clinical practice. It provides instant access to American Red Cross code and reference cards, protocol prompts for all resuscitation levels, heads-up timers for compression and medication delivery, and tools for real-time documentation, including situation reports.
According to the Red Cross, the new app combines evidence-based guidelines and clinical tools to help healthcare providers act with speed and confidence during resuscitation events.
“The first-of-its-kind Resuscitation App will be the trusted digital solution for healthcare and public safety clinicians delivering real-time resuscitation care,” said Dom Tolli, senior vice president of Product Management and Platform Development at the American Red Cross. “It’s a powerful, innovative tool that transforms training and real-world application, supporting better outcomes for providers and patients.”
The initiative marks a collaboration between the American Red Cross and Redivus Health, a physician-founded medical software company known for its technology-driven clinical support systems. Both organizations aim to enhance resuscitation education, streamline interventions, and strengthen the integration of digital tools in healthcare training and emergency care.
“This collaboration with the Red Cross reflects our shared commitment to advancing resuscitation care through innovation and evidence-based practice,” said Dr. Jeff Dunn, chief executive officer of Redivus Health. “Together, we’re combining clinical expertise and technology to create tools that clinicians need to deliver high-quality care anytime and anywhere.”
According to the Red Cross, studies from a medical center using Redivus Health’s resuscitation platform have shown measurable improvements in survival to discharge after cardiac arrest—rising from 28% to 40% and surpassing national benchmarks.
The Resuscitation Suite App is scheduled for release in February 2026 and will be available via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
