The initiative leverages genomic technologies to provide personalized treatment options, addressing a critical healthcare gap in Jammu & Kashmir and beyond.
Hitesh Goswami, CEO of 4baseCare, emphasized the transformative potential of the collaboration. “Cancer changes lives, but so can we. By working together, AIIMS Jammu and 4baseCare are committed to ensuring no patient is left behind. We are fighting for a future where every person has access to the best care, treatments, and most importantly, the best chance at survival,” he stated.
This partnership also includes establishing clinics and centers of excellence in precision oncology, addressing a significant regional cancer care gap. These facilities aim to provide comprehensive support, making cutting-edge treatments accessible to patients regardless of socioeconomic status.
Prof (Dr) Shakti Kumar Gupta, Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Jammu, emphasized the human impact of this collaboration. “For every patient we treat, we are treating a mother, a father, a sister, or a brother. This partnership is our promise to every family who walks through our doors that we will do everything in our power to bring them the care they deserve,” he said.
Currently, no facility in Jammu & Kashmir or adjacent areas provides such services, and only a few centers across India offer similar capabilities. This new center aims to serve as a referral hub, not just for Northern India but also for other parts of the country and neighboring regions.
