Aidoc & AWS Collaborate to Advance AI in Healthcare

Aidoc, a leading clinical AI provider, has entered a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance healthcare delivery using advanced artificial intelligence.

The agreement, announced on January 21, 2025, focuses on developing next-generation AI solutions leveraging Aidoc’s CARE™ Foundation Model and AWS's cloud capabilities.

Optimizing the CARE™ Foundation Model

Aidoc’s CARE™ Foundation Model is designed to process extensive datasets from diverse sources, enabling it to identify a wide range of suspected critical conditions in real-time. Unlike task-specific AI, this foundation model is adaptable to various healthcare needs with minimal retraining. For example, it can identify abnormalities such as fractures and tumors across different pathologies. Aidoc’s proprietary aiOS™ platform integrates seamlessly with AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reducing IT complexity for healthcare providers.

Expanding AI Capabilities

The partnership includes efforts to extend the CARE™ Foundation Model’s capabilities beyond X-rays and CT scans to additional imaging modalities. Aidoc plans to develop and pilot these advancements in real-world settings through its network of healthcare partners. The goal is to secure FDA clearance for new applications addressing complex medical conditions, with a focus on measurable improvements in diagnostic speed, accuracy, and patient care outcomes.
