Adani Healthcare Appoints Himanshu Bhardwaj as Chief Information Officer

At Adani Healthcare, he will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s information technology strategy and digital systems as the company continues to expand its healthcare services and infrastructure.

Adani Healthcare has appointed Himanshu Bhardwaj as its Chief Information Officer (CIO), bringing more than 28 years of experience in information technology and healthcare operations to the role.

Bhardwaj joins the organization from Medanta Hospitals, where he served as Head of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and IT Applications. During his tenure, he was involved in scaling the healthcare provider from a single flagship hospital to a broader network that now includes six multi-specialty hospitals, along with a network of clinics, pharmacies, and diagnostic laboratories.

At Medanta, Bhardwaj worked closely with clinical and IT teams to support operational and digital initiatives aimed at improving patient care workflows, strengthening data management systems, and supporting hospital operations through technology-led solutions.

Over the course of his career, Bhardwaj has also held senior roles at several technology companies, including Polaris, Virtusa, and Intellect. His professional background includes experience in product and program management, business analysis, and database administration.

He has led teams across multiple geographies and overseen technology projects involving high-volume transactions and enterprise-level systems. His experience includes managing large-scale transformation programs as well as planning and executing IT budgets and operational strategies.

Bhardwaj has also received multiple professional awards during his career for leadership in program management and technology implementation.
