Adani Group Plans 30 Hospitals Across India Under INR 60,000 Cr Healthcare Push

The hospital network is expected to be rolled out in phases over the next decade, with projects planned across multiple regions.

Adani Group has outlined plans to develop 30 hospitals across India under an INR 60,000 crore social investment program, placing a significant focus on expanding healthcare infrastructure nationwide.

The announcement was made by Karan Adani at a leadership summit in New Delhi on March 13, where he detailed the group’s intent to strengthen access to advanced medical services through long-term infrastructure development.

The hospital network is expected to be rolled out in phases over the next decade, with projects planned across multiple regions. The initiative aims to address gaps in access to quality healthcare, particularly in areas where advanced medical facilities remain limited.

The investment is part of a broader philanthropic commitment made by Gautam Adani in 2022. While the overall program includes education initiatives, the development of hospitals forms a key component of the group’s healthcare expansion strategy.

Karan Adani noted that alongside core infrastructure such as logistics and energy, healthcare institutions play a critical role in supporting long-term economic and social stability. He emphasized the need for sustained investment in healthcare systems to meet growing demand and improve service availability.

The initiative will build on the ongoing efforts of the Adani Foundation, which has been involved in healthcare delivery and community health programs for nearly three decades. Its work has included supporting primary healthcare access, medical camps, and health awareness initiatives in underserved communities.

The planned hospitals are expected to enhance capacity for advanced medical care and contribute to strengthening healthcare delivery systems across regions, with a focus on improving accessibility and infrastructure over time.
