Irish digital health company Zendra Health has announced plans to pursue a EUR 3 Mn to 5 Mn fundraising round next year after its AI-driven ADHD app achieved growing adoption across healthcare providers in Ireland, the UK and the US.
The investment is expected to support commercial expansion, including the development of a dedicated US sales presence.
The company has already established its Navigator platform within the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the UK's National Health Service (NHS), where it is used to support ADHD assessment, treatment and medication management.
Founded in 2017 by twin brothers Thomas and David Coleman, Dublin-based Zendra Health has spent several years developing healthcare software solutions.
Its latest offering, Navigator, was created to digitise evidence-based ADHD care pathways and improve coordination between clinicians, families and educators throughout the treatment journey.
“We’re creating a platform designed to make mental health medication management more efficient, safer, more accessible and more accurate,” said Zendra Health CEO Thomas Coleman.
“We are already seeing strong evidence-based outcomes from Navigator, with the potential to significantly improve the diagnostic and treatment journey for both children and adults with ADHD,” he added.
According to the company, the platform is helping clinicians reduce administrative workloads and increase patient capacity.
Internal data indicates that healthcare teams using Navigator are collectively saving around 112 clinical hours each week, allowing them to assess approximately 33% more patients while dedicating more time to direct care.
The platform currently serves more than 80,000 users through contracts with the HSE and NHS.
Zendra also reports that the technology is being used in two autism centres of excellence in the United States and has recently secured an agreement with a major psychiatric hospital in Ireland.
“We have a digital platform in place, and we are essentially gathering evidence as a launchpad for a full US market entry next year,” he said.
“A lot of this is now about sales and marketing. We have the product, and once you have good data around the safety and efficiency of the pathway, it gets really exciting.”
Before pursuing the larger EUR 3 Mn - 5 Mn raise, Zendra plans to complete a smaller seed funding round in the coming months. The company intends to use future investment to expand its commercial team and strengthen its presence in the United States.
