UAE Patients Get Unified Digital Platform with New Mediclinic App

The platform brings appointment booking, teleconsultations, medical records, personalized care plans, and secure authentication into one digital system.

Mediclinic Middle East has launched the new Mediclinic app, a redesigned digital platform created to serve as a care companion for patients across the UAE.

The update marks a major step in expanding access to connected and personalized healthcare, allowing patients to reach services directly from their phones.

The platform brings appointment booking, teleconsultations, medical records, personalised care plans, and secure authentication into one digital system.

"The new Mediclinic app reflects our vision to be the region’s leading digital-first healthcare provider,” said Dr. Sara Alom Ruiz, Chief Commercial Officer of Mediclinic Middle East. “This launch is more than the introduction of a new platform, it represents a fundamental shift in how patients experience care. We are bringing together innovation, clinical excellence and intuitive access to create a smarter, more connected and more compassionate model of care.”

It forms part of Mediclinic’s wider digital transformation efforts by replacing older tools with a unified experience built for faster access and ease of use.

Logging in through UAE Pass takes under 30 seconds, enabling quick entry while maintaining security standards. Patients can directly navigate to services such as booking consultations, reviewing records, or connecting with doctors in real time.

The app also expands virtual care options. Along with video and phone consultations, it now supports on-demand teleconsultations, giving patients a faster route to seek medical advice without waiting for scheduled appointments.

Secure family linking has been introduced to help parents and caregivers manage appointments and access medical files for children, spouses, or dependents within the same app.

To support continuity of care, the app now includes Personalised Care Plans, offering step-by-step guidance, digital education, and follow-up tools to help patients manage their health beyond a single visit.

“The new Mediclinic app will evolve into our digital front door, shaping how patients access care in the future,” said Ahmad Awada, Director of Innovations and Digital Health.

“It will grow into a one-stop super app, enabling new partnerships, smarter services and personalised user journeys across the entire Mediclinic ecosystem.”

The app is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store as the UAE continues to advance its digital health infrastructure.
