With this app, Samsung Health users can consolidate a 360-degree view of their health, including their clinical records along with healthcare wearables, pharmacy, laboratory, and insurance data including that from CMS and Veterans Affairs. This places consumers in control, allowing them to determine how their health data is shared and utilised.

US-based healthtech company b.well has joined forces with Samsung Health to offer personalised healthcare solutions. The collaboration aims to provide quick access to relevant and proactive health information to American users.

In this collaborative effort, Samsung will leverage the b.well Connected Health platform to revolutionise how consumers manage their health and engage with healthcare services.

This strategic move will enable Samsung Health users to create a longitudinal health record, receive proactive health insights, and conveniently access care from a growing network of trusted providers, all through a single secure application on Galaxy smartphones.

This places consumers in control, allowing them to determine how their health data is shared and utilised.

Further, users will receive deeply personalised insights and proactive health recommendations, driven by the b.well platform's algorithmic approach using Clinical Quality Measures and advanced analytics.

Additionally, the b.well platform will establish direct connections to various in-person, digital, and virtual care providers, ensuring users can easily act on insights and connect with necessary care services.

With health data tracked on their devices, users might receive a reminder for a preventive screening, a prompt to follow up on a care plan from their physician, or a helpful reminder for someone they care for.

Through the collaborative efforts of Samsung Health and b.well, digitally-enabled healthcare providers will have the capacity to provide a range of services to millions of Samsung Health users. These services include in-person care scheduling, telehealth appointments, second opinion consultations, pharmacy management services, and more.

Launched in 2012, Samsung Health is a health and fitness application developed by Samsung Electronics. The aim of Samsung Health is to provide users with valuable insights into their health and wellness. It tracks activity data with significant health impacts, helping users gain insight into their well-being.

While founded in 2015, the healthcare company, b.well aims to transform how people interact with the healthcare system by empowering consumers to become advocates through access and understanding of their holistic health data.

In a similar development, Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV) launched a smart mobile app for adverse event reporting to improve patient care. The app offers a user-friendly platform for uploading information about potential adverse events. It further streamlines the reporting process, ensuring timely submission of crucial event details without the risk of information loss.
