Remidio Launches 'Pristine' Brand to Enhance In-Clinic Eye Care Efficiency

While Pristine targets in-clinic diagnostics, Remidio will continue to focus on portable, AI-powered screening tools.
Bengaluru-based healthtech company Remidio Innovative Solutions has announced the launch of its new in-clinic brand, Pristine, as part of a broader dual brand strategy that also retains its existing Remidio label for last-mile screening and outreach solutions.
The move marks a significant evolution in the company's mission to deliver end-to-end eye care, from frontline screenings to advanced diagnostics.
Pristine Devices Focused on Diagnostic Speed & Accuracy
The Pristine product line is designed to enhance efficiency and throughput in high-volume ophthalmology clinics. Devices such as the Pristine 1.5 streamline retina imaging workflows, while the Pristine 5.0 enables rapid, true-color, wide-field imaging in seconds.
The Pristine VX650 facilitates multimodal diagnostics, and the upcoming Pristine OBM 12 will deliver 12 essential eye measurements in just 25 seconds, aiding myopia management and pre-operative assessments with minimal technician effort.
While Pristine targets in-clinic diagnostics, Remidio will continue to focus on portable, AI-powered screening tools, which have enabled over 16 million screenings in more than 40 countries.
These solutions are widely used by frontline health workers to identify early signs of eye disease and guide patients to timely treatment.
Expanding Eye Care to Systemic Health
Remidio's AI models are already validated for conditions like Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, and Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
The company is now expanding into screening for systemic conditions such as cardiovascular disease (CVD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD), using the eye as a diagnostic window to overall health.
With this dual approach, Remidio aims to redefine clinical efficiency and community outreach, supporting a more integrated and scalable eye care ecosystem.
