Neuberg Diagnostics, NM Medical Consolidate Maharashtra Operations to Build Integrated Diagnostics Network

The unified platform brings together Neuberg NM Medical, Neuberg Dr Ajay Shah, Neuberg Sehgal, Neuberg OncoPath led by Dr Jay Mehta, and Neuberg Star, with a focus on clinical quality, advanced technology, clinical insights and customer experience.

Neuberg Diagnostics and NM Medical have recently consolidated their Maharashtra operations, bringing together NM Medical and Neuberg’s diagnostic brands in the state under a unified network.

The partnership combines NM Medical’s expertise in advanced radiology, cardiology and preventive wellness with Neuberg’s capabilities in Genomics, Metabolomics, Proteomics, Digital Pathology, Immunohistochemistry, Molecular Diagnostics, Nephropathology and Neuropathology.

The unified platform brings together Neuberg NM Medical, Neuberg Dr Ajay Shah, Neuberg Sehgal, Neuberg OncoPath led by Dr Jay Mehta, and Neuberg Star, with a focus on clinical quality, advanced technology, clinical insights and customer experience.

The network will provide patients across Mumbai and Maharashtra with access to routine and specialised testing, advanced imaging and preventive wellness through integrated diagnostic centres, pathology laboratories, wellness centres and collection centres.

According to the companies, the integration of imaging, pathology, molecular diagnostics and genomics will provide clinicians with a more comprehensive view of patients, supporting earlier detection, diagnosis, treatment decisions and disease monitoring.

The Maharashtra platform will be led by Dr. Nilesh Shah as Chairman, Dr. Ajay Shah as Chief Mentor, Pathology, Dr. Asish Atre as Chief of Radiology, and Dr. Kunal Sehgal and Dr. Jay Mehta as Heads of Pathology. Rahil Shah will serve as CEO, Maharashtra, Preventive Wellness & Africa Operations, Neuberg Group, and will drive the integration and expansion of the network.

Neuberg said it will expand across Maharashtra through integrated diagnostic centres, pathology laboratories, wellness centres and collection centres.

The unification of Neuberg’s Maharashtra diagnostic brands, along with Atlas, the group’s longevity and wellness initiative, was unveiled by MS Dhoni in Mumbai. Atlas brings together diagnostics, imaging, genomics and personalised health insights.

The first Atlas Longevity & Wellness programme is being launched at NM Medical’s Marine Lines centre in Mumbai, with plans to expand to other major cities across India.

Neuberg Diagnostics is headquartered in Chennai and has a presence in India, the UAE, South Africa and the USA. The group said its laboratories are accredited by CAP and NABL, and that it has the capability to perform more than 6,000 varieties of pathological investigations. It processes more than 30 million tests annually and has a network of over 250 laboratories in India.

NM Medical has over 40 years of experience in pathology, radiology, cardiology and preventive healthcare, with diagnostic centres across Mumbai and other Indian cities.
