Reportedly, all ward beds at Malla Reddy Hospital will be equipped with contactless and continuous monitoring by Dozee's AI-powered RPM and EWS.

Hyderabad-based Malla Reddy Narayana Multispeciality Hospital has launched the ‘E-Wards - A digital health solution program’ in collaboration with Dozee’s AI-powered solutions.

Reportedly, all ward beds at Malla Reddy Hospital will be equipped with contactless and continuous monitoring by Dozee's AI-powered Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning Systems (EWS).

The ‘E-Wards - A digital health solution Program’ seeks to achieve digital transformation by offering quality healthcare along with the integration of advanced technologies such as Dozee

On the partnership, Gaurav Parchani, CTO and cofounder of Dozee, said, "This collaboration aims to significantly enhance patient safety by reducing the incidence of code blue events. Together, we are setting new standards in digital transformation and advancing healthcare."

Features of Dozee’s AI-Powered Tech

Dozee’s AI-powered EWS assists in the early detection of clinical deterioration, enabling timely medical intervention and preventing emergencies.

The integration of the latest technology will assist healthcare professionals in remotely tracking the trends of vital parameters such as heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, temperature, and ECG.

The Made in India technology also provides alerts to healthcare providers for early detection of patients' clinical deterioration, enabling timely medical intervention.

Further, its EWS helps detect patients' possible clinical deterioration early, enabling timely medical intervention. Moreover, Dozee uses AI-based Ballistocardiography (BCG) for contactless vitals monitoring.

Reportedly, a recent research conducted by an independent consulting firm Sattva shows that for every 100 Dozee-connected beds, it can save 144 lives and 80% of the time taken for vitals by nurses and reduce ICU ALOS by 1.3 days.

"Through the E-wards Programme, we are empowering our healthcare providers to monitor patient vitals in real-time. This AI-powered advanced capability allows us to swiftly detect any signs of clinical decline, enabling timely interventions and proactive measures. By doing so, we significantly reduce the occurrence of code blues, ensuring that our patients receive immediate and effective care,’’ said Dr Nithya, senior consultant, Internal Medicine, Malla Reddy Narayana Hospital.

Founded in 2008, Malla Reddy Narayana Hospital, a part of the Malla Reddy Health City, is a super speciality hospital with advanced medical facilities. The healthcare organization emphasizes all-round wellness and preventive medicine. It aims to improve the quality of life through clinical excellence.

Recent RPM Developments

In April, Bengaluru’s Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital & Research Centre adopted Dozee's advanced Al-based contactless and continuous patient monitoring and early warning system.

Healthtech startup Dozee’s advanced tech is a cloud-enabled solution that comes with a central and remote patient monitoring capability.

Apart from continuous monitoring, the AI-equipped advanced software can also offer timely medical interventions for improved patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Last year, Mangalore-based AJ Hospital and Research Centre adopted Dozee's advanced AI-based Contactless Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning System (EWS).

The hospital integrated Dozee's next-generation ambulatory-connected patient monitoring systems into non-ICU ward beds to leverage indigenous technology. This implementation allowed for continuous contactless monitoring of vital signs, emphasizing the hospital's dedication to elevating overall patient care standards.
