The Ministry of Health has announced the opening of a new travel health clinic at Farwaniya Hospital, increasing the total number of K travel health clinics to eight across all governorates.

The clinics are distributed across various governorates to ensure easier access for citizens and residents and to improve the overall quality of services provided.
According to the ministry, several clinics operate on a two-shift system, offering morning and evening timings to meet the needs of travelers. The extended schedule aims to provide flexibility for booking appointments and completing vaccinations and preventive treatments.
The ministry highlighted the importance of visiting travel health clinics well before travel, particularly for individuals heading to less developed countries or areas with high epidemiological risk. It noted that receiving required vaccinations, preventive treatments, and medical advice before departure is essential for safe travel.
The ministry also encouraged travelers to make use of this specialized national service and to consult the interactive travel map available on its website to review destination-specific requirements. It urged the public to contact the nearest travel health clinic to learn about available services.
