iLive Connect Launches India’s First Doctor-Led Continuous Care Platform
The platform integrates medical-grade wearable biosensors that are FDA- and CE-approved to track vital signs, along with a digital platform that analyses health trends on an ongoing basis.
iLive Connect has announced the launch of what it says is India’s first ‘Doctor-Led Continuous Care’ platform, aimed at enabling round-the-clock health monitoring and early medical intervention for individuals outside hospital settings.
The platform is positioned to address several ongoing challenges in India’s healthcare system, including the growing elderly population living alone, the rising prevalence of chronic diseases, sudden cardiac events, preventable hospitalisations, and limited access to continuous medical supervision beyond clinical settings.
iLive operates as a 24×7 continuous care system that monitors patient health parameters in real time and enables medical action before symptoms become clinically evident.
The platform integrates medical-grade wearable biosensors that are FDA- and CE-approved to track vital signs, along with a digital platform that analyses health trends on an ongoing basis. It also uses AI-based predictive analytics to flag early risk patterns, allowing clinicians to intervene proactively.
A key component of the platform is its medical command centre, which operates round the clock and is staffed by specialist doctors. The centre continuously monitors patient data and responds to alerts generated by changes in vital parameters. Patients using the platform also have access to doctors and a designated iLive Expert for care coordination.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. Rahul Chandola, cardiovascular and aortic surgeon and Founder of iLive Connect, said healthcare delivery remains largely reactive and hospital-centric. He noted that most health risks develop outside hospitals and often go undetected until symptoms escalate.
Dr. Viveka Kumar, an interventional cardiologist and co-founder of iLive Connect, said the platform combines continuous monitoring and specialist-led medical oversight into a single care model. According to him, the system is designed to provide timely clinical supervision for patients and offer reassurance to families monitoring loved ones remotely.
The platform is targeted at individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and congestive heart failure. Continuous tracking of vital signs is intended to support disease management and help identify early signs of deterioration. The service is also aimed at elderly individuals and patients requiring long-term remote monitoring, with caregivers receiving real-time updates and alerts.
iLive Connect will operate as an at-home care layer, functioning alongside existing doctors and hospital services rather than replacing them.
