Health ATM Inaugurated at Sang PHC in Sikkim to Expand Access to Digital Healthcare
The Health ATM installed at the Sang PHC is equipped to conduct instant health checks across more than 60 parameters, including blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and SpO2, among others.
A Health ATM was inaugurated at the Sang Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Sikkim, marking a step towards improving access to healthcare services in remote and rural regions of the state.
The initiative aims to make quality healthcare accessible, instant, and free for communities at the grassroots level.
The project has been implemented with the support of the Government of Sikkim and the Department of Health & Family Welfare, in collaboration with Clinics On Cloud.
The initiative highlights how technology, government involvement, and CSR support can come together to address healthcare access challenges across diverse geographies, from urban centres to remote villages.
The Health ATM installed at the Sang PHC is equipped to conduct instant health checks across more than 60 parameters, including blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and SpO2, among others. Patients can receive their health reports within 10–15 minutes through printed copies as well as via WhatsApp, at zero cost.
According to Clinics On Cloud, the initiative demonstrates the potential of scalable, impact-driven healthcare models that focus on community well-being. The organisation emphasised that such models are essential for strengthening public healthcare systems, particularly in rural and semi-urban India.
The inauguration was attended by district leadership, health officials, Panchayat members, ASHA workers, and community representatives, who reiterated the importance of deploying technology at the grassroots level to support public healthcare delivery.
Clinics On Cloud stated that it remains committed to building sustainable healthcare infrastructure through long-term partnerships rather than limited pilot projects. The company noted that it has conducted over 10 million patient tests and currently operates more than 3,000 kiosks.
