Eurofins, the global leader in life testing services, has launched its advanced BioPharma Services Campus, in Genome Valley, Hyderabad.
This marks Eurofins' second BioPharma Services Campus in India, spanning approximately 1,00,000 sq ft of laboratory and office space, on a 15-acre site.
Located in Genome Valley, this campus will provide services to global pharmaceutical companies in discovery chemistry & biology, safety toxicology, bioanalytical services and formulation development.

The inaugural ceremony was led by KT Rama Rao, Telangana IT & Industries Minister, in the presence of EV Narasimha Reddy, vice chairman and MD, Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) among others.
Speaking at the occasion, KTR said, 'œAs part of their ambitious growth plans, Eurofins will be investing around INR 1,000 Cr and will create employment for around 2,000 people over the years. It is our vision to establish Genome Valley as the global valley of growth for innovation and R&D and Eurofins' inauguration today marks another milestone in our journey'.
Founded in 1987, Eurofins Scientific is a leading provider of analytical services with an international network of independent companies in 61 countries, operating approximately 900 laboratories. The company aims to provide its customers with advanced and high-quality laboratory, research, and advisory services.
This is Eurofins' second biopharma services campus in India after Bengaluru which was set up in 2011. The facility offers a full package of safety testing, biomarker testing, dedicated project management, and a local client support centre. In addition to the Bengaluru campus, Eurofins operates fully-owned facilities in the United States, the Netherlands, Singapore, and China.
In a similar instance relating to lab developments, the SRV Hospital has recently launched an AI cath lab in its fifth hospital in Nashik to provide personalised patient care by offering the latest technologies and integrated healthcare. The advanced technology will assist healthcare professionals with intelligent imaging capabilities, advanced healthcare delivery and diagnostic accuracy.
In another instance, just a few days back, the Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) approved nine additional Medical Testing Laboratories (MDTL) across India. This move aligns with the aims of expansion of testing laboratories for medical devices as the sector undergoes a significant regulatory shift, including introducing a licencing regime.
