The funds will support BrainSightAI’s mission to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of complex brain disorders through its innovative neuroinformatics platform, VoxelBox.
Bengaluru-based deeptech neuroscience startup, BrainSightAI, has raised $5 million in its pre-Series A funding round, led by IAN Alpha Fund.
The funding round also saw participation from IvyCap Ventures, Silver Needle, and existing investors, the company announced in a statement.
The funds will support BrainSightAI’s mission to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of complex brain disorders through its innovative neuroinformatics platform, VoxelBox.
The company aims to expand its operations across India, increasing its presence in Tier-I cities while extending its reach to Tier II cities.
Additionally, BrainSightAI plans to use the funding to pursue FDA certification, which would enable access to the US and allied markets.

Founded in 2019 by Laina Emmanuel and Rimjhim Agrawal, BrainSightAI collaborates with over 40 leading hospitals in India, primarily in neurosurgery and radiology departments, focusing on brain tumor cases.
The company’s advanced connectomics platform, VoxelBox, is designed to provide personalized, data-driven insights into brain physiology.
IAN Alpha Fund, a SEBI-registered AIF Category II VC Fund with a corpus of Rs 1,000 crore, led the funding round. The fund focuses on diverse sectors including healthtech, medtech, AI, and deep tech.
With this funding, BrainSightAI is poised to enhance its offerings and expand its impact, both in India and globally, while driving innovations in brain healthcare.
