Birla Fertility Launches Toll-Free Fertility Counselling Helpline

Available in English and Hindi, the helpline is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and plans to expand into regional languages.

Birla Fertility & IVF has launched a toll-free support helpline—Fertility Circle (1800 123 1515), to provide unrecorded and stigma-free counselling for individuals and couples navigating fertility issues.

Available in English and Hindi, the helpline is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and plans to expand into regional languages. It provides expert-led guidance, emotional support, and confidential conversations at no cost, pressure, or judgment.

The initiative responds to findings from Birla Fertility’s internal study, which revealed that over 90% of people facing fertility challenges experience emotional exhaustion, yet only 29% seek timely support. Many delay care by over two years due to stigma or confusion.

Global data shows that one in three individuals with infertility experiences elevated stress, anxiety, or depression. In India, those undergoing fertility treatments are six to seven times more likely to report high stress compared to those conceiving naturally. Over half report a drop in quality of life, while 38% have considered quitting work due to treatment-related pressures.

“We launched Fertility Circle to make it easier for people to start the conversation without fear, without pressure, and cost,” said Abhishek Aggrawal, Chief Executive Officer, Birla Fertility & IVF. “Whether someone is looking for answers, reassurance, or just a listening ear, this service ensures they’re not alone navigating these questions. It reflects our belief that true fertility care goes beyond the clinic; it starts with clarity and compassion.”

Parul Tyagi, Chief Marketing Officer of Birla Fertility & IVF, said, “Fertility Circle is designed to be a reliable starting point for anyone with questions or concerns about fertility. We are actively working with organisations and platforms to normalise reproductive health conversations and extend this support's reach.”
