Aster DM Healthcare Announces AED 1 Bn UAE Expansion
Aster DM Healthcare will open two new multi-specialty hospitals in Dubai at Studio City and Discovery Gardens, adding over 250 beds to its current UAE capacity.
Aster DM Healthcare has announced two new hospitals in Dubai and a major expansion in Al Qusais, adding 370 new beds to its current strength of 920 beds in the UAE.
In alignment with Dubai Economic Agenda D33, the company revealed projects worth AED 1 billion aimed at making world-class healthcare locally available in the UAE.
Aster DM Healthcare’s integrated healthcare model currently includes 15 hospitals, 126 clinics and 338 pharmacies in the Middle East.
As part of its expansion, Aster DM Healthcare will open two new multi-speciality hospitals in Dubai at Studio City and Discovery Gardens, adding over 250 beds to its current UAE capacity. Once operational, the facilities are expected to serve over 560,000 additional patients annually and create more than 675 new healthcare jobs.
The company will also expand Aster Hospital, Al Qusais through a new annex building, adding 122 operational beds and strengthening its Centre of Excellence for Oncology and other specialties. The project envisages an investment of AED 300 million, with the expanded facility expected to be operational by the end of 2028.

Aster will also launch an Advanced Robotic Rehabilitation Centre in Dubai, bringing 18 robotic devices including US FDA approved technologies such as robotic exoskeletons, brain computer interface systems, neuromodulation therapies and advanced gait and upper limb rehabilitation solutions.
The centre will support recovery for neurological, spinal, stroke related and mobility conditions and will also house an Advanced Paediatric Neurorehabilitation Centre for children with ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Under its digital initiatives, myAster will introduce Thrive, a preventive health assessment powered by a 100 biomarker test designed to identify early signals and potential imbalances before symptoms appear. The healthcare company is also exploring the introduction of a unified HIS system across its facilities in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Supported by myAster, the group aims to scale its footprint to serve 75 million people annually over the next five years, up from 17.6 million people.
In addition to the UAE, the company is expanding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through a committed investment of USD 250 million across hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and digital health.
